Why can I not move around? Can I only teleport?? :'( That just takes away from the immersion. And pretty much makes it unplayable for me. I hope I'm in the minority, cause it really looks like this could be good one.
I have no clue if it is hard or not to implement a system where we could just walk with our joystick. To me it sounds like it is simple.
From what little I managed to see of this Experience, it was very nice.
Also wish I could turn around with the other joystick, mouse or keyboard.
ofc, im playing on quest 2. You can play any PC game just by connecting ur quest 2 via virtual desktop with PC. Download Oculus app on PC. Buy Virtual Desktop. Install on Quest 2. Install Virtuall Dekstop Streamer on PC. You're good to go.
Warner bros Threaten to sue some guy for giving a Harry Potter themed birthday party. What do you thing when they heard an unlicensed game of their property has been sold. And for making games, they are only selling rights to highest bidder like Lego. So I don't think they will give rights to an indie developers.
This is fantastic! I'd be lying if I said it satisfied me, though. It left me wanting more! I would love to see a fully fleshed out Harry Potter VR game where you not only speak the spells, but you've got to flick/wave/flourish the wand appropriately to activate the spells. Nicely done! Keep up the great work!
thank you...thank you so so so much I was basically crying to see this. I downloaded it immediately thank you so much for making it free. I am completely obsessed with Harry Potter and this is exactly what I want. I would pay to have a few improvements for example being able to send spells at an object by flicking your wrist (wand) and to move without having to hold down the joystick as sometimes I accidentally let got before I’m at my place. I would love more spells and locations to be added in the future but I can tell you honestly, this Slytherin has never been so happy to be in a ravenclaw common room. Thank you so much !!!!
Is there any way to port this so it is natively on the Quest 1 or 2, to sideload? My PC simply isn't strong enough. If not, I hope you continue to make games like this which can be used on the quest. Love the game.
just use a link cable or airlink then make sure you have steam vr installedthen once the game is istalled unzip the folder and start steam vr once in steamvr open the unziped folder and open the exe

Ok, they say there's no such thing as a stupid question, so here goes: I'm totally new to VR, about ready to buy what I think should be a decent headset -- the HP Reverb G2 -- and I wanted to know if anyone here recommends that headset for this Hogwarts experience? I still have to learn about Steam, how it works, etc. but I figured I could learn while I'm using this project. Anyone know for sure about compatibility?
Hey so I'm having some trouble with launching the game, it just doesn't launch i've tried a lot of things but none worked, i'm using a quest 2 with link and SteamVr but the game just launches for a second and then closes itself, Please help me
You could use either, but for he oculus quest 2 you would need to use oculus link. Here is a link to a video about oculus link. You would also need SteamVR to actualy play the game.
Dude, this game is just awesomely magic. I'm sure it's something people would spend money on. Personally I'm left feeling like I want so much more of it but I keep enjoying just repeating the spells and trying it again and again. AWESOME work - in capital letters.

any chance you can release an apk for this game so i can sideloud it to my quest 2 i believe it will run ok maybe a little laggy but i will be interested in downloading if there was an apk
